I love the challenge of trying to recreate the patina and feel of a 50-60+ yr old instrument, complete with lacquer checking, battle scars, and "tan lines" under the hardware. I use era correct nitrocellulose lacquer, Bakelite pickguards, and all of the proper hardware and materials, depending upon the year of the guitar I'm replicating. The bodies of my blackguard era guitars have the proper router "hump" and the necks have the signature "Tadeo Taper" and rolled fingerboard edges that give the guitar a true vintage vibe and feel.
